Rigg Extension
In this scheme the clients relatively small original dwelling required a significant additional floor area to accommodation their needs. The proposed solution was to create a simple linear ‘barn-style’ form adjacent to the existing building and link the two forms with a glazed circulation space. The resultant building provides the large open plan living spaces required without overwhelming the original building and maintains the integrity of both built forms.
